Through her work she informed Hindi readers all over the world about rich multicultural nature of Australia. Her work has been published in many international anthologies and books. She has motivated young and upcoming Indian writers of Australia, and published their work in books and magazines. Rekha’s poetry and stories are being taught in 6 Indian Universities in India (including Delhi University) and children literature is included in text books.
